The Fairy Tale Project - Fairy Tales According to Me

This is a project that I started on my blog Snowfly7.com Normal Abnormality, I'm in the process of re-writing fairy tales as I see them. Bear in mind, this is just me screwing around while my kids are at school or napping.

Lupus - Day 10 (million)

Way WAY over it at this point. Yesterday was promising. I came out of the gate at mach 2. It was great! Did all of the morning Mom stuff, did bigtime grocery shopping with Little Man (For you Bloggymommers - Little Man is my 2 year old nephew. I watch him during the week, but for the sake of preserving the privacy of my sister and her family, I do not use his name and I don't post any pics, although he'd just melt your heart he's so damned CUTE!!!) Lupus - Day 4

Today has been much better. The Jellyfish is gone. Few joint problems. Going S.L.O.W, like oozing slime slow, and getting tired easily, but I'm far more functional than the past few days.

Jeez you guys. You should have heard me last night at parent teacher conference. It was like my brain kept refusing to acknowledge the existence of certain letters of the alphabet. For example, I tried to say "Scholastic" like for times as we headed to the post conference…

Lupus - Day 3

I know. It seems like I skipped a day, but I didn't. Yesterday, was technically day 2. Day 1 just sucked so much it didn't even occur to me that I had a computer let alone think to use it.

Today, I am in what I like to call, Jelly Fish phase. Jelly Fish phase doesn't really hurt (unless you are my pride, in which case you are in excrutiating pain). My body is super fatigued. Like having run a marathon but without the excellent endorphin rush. I have jelly legs, jelly arms,…

Lupus.

This is not something I write about very often. For some silly reason, It embarrasses me a bit. That, and I honestly never know where to begin. I could begin at the beginning, but that just seems exhausting. I also have trouble talking about Lupus without worrying that I'm whining about it or trying to garner sympathy. Frankly, whiners irritate me.
