The day had finally arrived! The day our family would remember for years to come....The day we had the opportunity to try out our own SodaStream home soda maker! The poor UPS man never stood a chance! The kids eagerly anticipated their first glass of home made soda!

      It was almost like Christmas morning in April! We had been excited and ready to give SodaStream a whirl ever since we saw a late Saturday morning infomercial!

     The initial appeal to me was as always....cutting corners on expenses. Every small way you can save adds up! I could not believe the amount of product we were sent, and refills are readily available and affordable!

     Once we got the soda maker put together which truly was a cinch! We started cranking out the soda's! I could not get over how simple the process was! Fill up the SodaStream liter bottles with cold tap water connect to the soda maker, carbonate and in less than 30 seconds we had a fresh liter of carbonated water to flavor as we wished! Flat soda? No problem here!

    With so many flavors to chose from we opted for an old favorite! Root beer! From our kitchen sink! To be perfectly honest, we are not the biggest soda drinkers... but my kids are kids and look forward to a treat, and an occasional cold beverage always hits the spot! Not having to run to the convenience store to tame a Coke craving will be sublime!

    Taste tests have proven (in our home anyway:) that SodaStream is a must have! At only 25 cents per can and over fifty flavors to choose from you will save time and money daily! My husband arrived home and was greeted by his own home made Ginger Ale...Even he was impressed!

    On Saturday as a long day of catching up with yard and housework lay ahead of us, we whipped up an energy drink which tasted just like Red Bull! We never left the house or spent any money while getting our chores done!

    During the week I live by the 4HB diet...no sugar! I was a little bummed that we got our Soda Stream Genesis mid week! (Though I did try a few small samples) I was relieved to find that I could create my own sugar free seltzer with the  MyWater essence flavors! The perfect treat after the treadmill!

    While it has only been a week in review! We love our SodaStream Genesis! I was able to find all the supplies, refill tanks  and fun flavors we would need at our local Kohl's! Money saving! Economical! Fun! Super easy! No messy cleanup! Are you curious!
