Well, here I was, all set for my major relaunch and recommitment to blogging regularly, and I spent last week doing absolutely none! Sorry, supermoms!

What I was doing was working my 1/2-marathon training schedule, keeping up with work (my real job not Project Supermom stuff), taking care of the baby and the rest of the family, and tinkering with a couple of overdue house projects. For less than $300, I revamped my dining room, added a mural of kiddie photos to a long and plain hallway, and spruced up our outdoor front entry courtyard. All of these areas have seemed underdone and not quite pulled together for a really long time, and it's always kinda aggravated me, but I've never had the time to figure out how to fix them. I let myself go with the flow of my ideas and stumbled on some great deals that fell right into place with what I wanted like it was all meant to be. My house feels so much more inviting and settled now...and I feel so much better, too...happy and satisfied and settled in my space!

What does this have to do with being a supermom? It was during a run that I had an epiphany about that very thing. I talk so much about what to do to change the woman. What I learned last week was that it isn't always about reinventing ourselves into something better, but it's also about reinventing our environment!
