Buh-by Christmas...
Christmas is O-V-E-R. Sigh.......All the work, all the shopping, all the running around, all the conjunctivitis, all of the runny noses, all of it. It's over. For another year at least. And every Christmas, I say I am going to do my Christmas shopping for the following year, right after this year - hit up all the sales and I won't have to worry about it come next year. Do I ever do this? Hell no. It sounds like a good plan though, doesn't it?
So do you want to know why I'm relieved Christmas is over?

I wonder how many other people feel the same way? I always feel a sense of relief but sadness the day after Christmas...the tree, the lights and the spirit of Christmas is such a warm and cozy feeling, however, the sense of relief overcomes me when it's finally over. I don't know if it's just me but it seems like a ton of work for one day! The hustle, bustle, cooking, entertaining....then you blink and it's all over. I can relate, as I too, always have big goals of starting Christmas shopping for next year right after Christmas but never do...Well, have a healthy and happy New Year. Erin
