Thank you for your comment! I also didn't think my daughter would get it. I really don't know why pediatricians are recommending this method.

In my case, my daughter's pediatrician was not a mom yet, what makes me think she didn't really know how hard it is to hear your baby crying and don't do anything about it!

I remember thinking that the people who said their babies slept through the night early on were the exception.  I tried the CIO method because my pediatrician said that she should be sleeping through the night right now.  I couldn't handle the screaming.  It just didn't make sense to me that through the whole day I would be there to address her needs and just stop once the sun went down and expect her to get it.  Great post!
