So, it turns out that football’s not coming home.
If it were I’d be watching England pitifully pussyfooting around the Germans for an hour and half right now. Before witnessing them being totally obliterated in a penalty shoot-out. We all know how that particular story goes.
But since the Italians already annihilated us during a penalty shoot out in the quarterfinals, I am now following the game that England should have been in on the t’internet with very little interest. I can’t decide which team I want to lose more.
I am not really a football fan. I only jump on the bandwagon during the European and World cups. And that’s only so I can pull my England flag out from the back of my closet, and hang it in our front window.
To be honest, I don’t even really understand the game. And most of the time I am that busy talking I actually miss that one vital goal that is eventually scored.
