I’ve mentioned before that I am trying to work on healthier eating. This used to mean dieting and no dessert to me. Well, that just set me up to fail every.single.time. There’s got to be a way to have a healthier cake and eat it too, right?
Apparently there is! Only, when I first heard about cooking with olive oil, I thought that was for cooking chicken in a pan or for coating potatoes to be baked in the oven with some seasoning. So, if you are like me, finding out that olive oil can be used for so much more – including sweets! – is a great find.
I received the opportunity to review Micki Sannar’s cookbook Olive Oil Desserts: Delicious and Healthy Heart Smart Baking. I was definitely intrigued and couldn’t wait for it to arrive.
