I homeschool my 6 year old and I was a super whiz at school myself... HOWEVER.. as you get older there's so many things you just don't know anymore lol even the basics are hidden behind this beautiful blank wall in my mind at times... so instead of saying 'i have no freaking clue' (which is what I'm thinking).. I say 'wow! that's a great question.. how about we look it up together?' .. it saves me from feeling stupid.. she thinks im brilliant because i know how to look stuff up lol win win!!

I have found Google very helpful for this stage. Last week we looked up why and how grass is green, how a combine works, and now we are learning about clouds. I did send her to school to ask why trees never stop growing and several other questions :)
