This is my first post here and I must say I am a little intimidated... But that won't get me anywhere so here we go! I'm Layni, a not so normal 19 year old with a 20 month old baby girl named Melody. I must say that little person is my world, I mean just look at how perfect she is! 

I refuse to fall into the normal teenage mother statistics. I graduated from high school early (even got a scholarship for that), still with the baby daddy, never done drugs or drank, never partied, and am in college to get a bachelor degree in photography. So yeah I think I can do pretty much anything! But this is the internet and it's okay to be a little cocky here right?

Sadly life doesn't always see rings how I want it to. I pretty much have no friends, sure my old friends try but they have their own lives now and are all in college. I can't blame em though. Then there is my horrible time management. I only do things when Melody is sleeping. That's almost 2 hours during the day and at night my free time usually starts at about 10pm. That's not much time for schoolwork, laundry, projects, and some me time. But hey I try.

I'm hoping that by keeping a blog I will be more motivated to get things done. I'm pretty sure I suffer from some sort of depression; just want to lay in bed all day, always tired, get really sad at night about nothing, and usually stay in pi's all day. But hey maybe it's hormones and being a mom with a touch of laziness. So some of the things I want to do is make Melody a little red riding hood cape, do a Julie/Julia project (but with a different cookbook, and I'm sure there was more but that's all I can think of for now.

Well this is all I think of about me for now, oh and I currently have jelly in my hair thanks to a little someone. Do people usually write in paragraph style?
