We've been blogging for a little over a month here at More Than Mommies. Still learning. Still growing. Testing the waters and stretching our limbs. And we are overjoyed that you've found us and want to come along for the ride!

When we started, we wanted to make our blog a place where we could be ourselves and talk about all the things that make us "more than mommies" (hence the name). We wanted to remember all the things we were passionate about before our kids were even a twinkle in our eye and we wanted to explore and discover new things that will keep us full and ready to give all we have to our families. On top of that we want to share our love of blogging: reading them and writing them--and build a community around us who is supportive, funny, friendly, wise, witty, and welcoming--Just like us! :)

To that end, we have decided to do something that we haven't done up to this point: Create a Sunday blog post (Yippee!) and we are calling it: The Sunday Sip 

So what IS The Sunday Sip? (We knew you would ask). We've decided Sunday is the perfect day to get to know each other better. We'll share a cup of coffee or tea (or your Sunday beverage of choice) and settle in to chat.

We are looking for bloggers-- small and big, old and new to talk with us --show us around your blog and tell us your story (or at least part of it). We would love to send you some questions and feature your blog! You get to show off the best of what you have to offer--and we get to know you better and build our community.

Also, we want to hear what our readers are interested in knowing about our featured bloggers. So throw out your best questions for us here in the comments: From how did you get your blog name?  to What's the funniest thing you've ever blogged about? and everything in between.


The Sunday Sip will be the perfect way to introduce you to the blog world where there is no shortage of inspiration and so many wonderful writers. We hope that you will learn something new and fill up your cup so that you are ready to face the busy-ness of the upcoming week!
