However, I highly recommend it as it will give your readers a better guide for finding your main topics.
My favorite blog for organization is The Pioneer Woman, if you haven't {which I doubt} read her blog...check it out... after you're done with mine.

(1) Category names must be precise and descriptive at the same time. First time viewers should be able to navigate your blog with ease. If it is difficult to find your main focus and posts, the reader will likely move on.

(2) Categorizing & Labeling are different from Archiving. Archives are meant to show every single post. Categories/Labels should be kept to a minimum yet housing all of your posts.

(3) Subcategories: If your blog platform allows you to create subcategories, I highly recommend taking advantage of it. Example: One of my categories is "Homeschool". Within "Homeschool" you will find subcategories such as "Kindergarten".

If I can do categories, I have no idea how. I do use tags, which I guess is better than nothing??

Thanks for the information. This is helpful. I have categories, but I need to figure out how to add subcategories, and, I think I have to make my categories more precise.
