Why is this smoothie a power smoothie?

Well, this PB&J Smoothie recipe is loaded with protein and flax seeds! Flax seeds are a great source of fiber and Omega 3. It is great for dieting and feeling full longer. Click here to read more about the benefits of flax seeds.

This PB&J smoothie is around 250 calories and 30 grams of protein!

This snack or meal will give you the boost you need and also keep you glycemically balanced until the next meal. I am loving this super easy afternoon treat!

 
PB&J Power Smoothie
 
Serves: 1
 
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup of oatmeal
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 tsp of sugar free grape jelly
  • 1 tsp of natural peanut butter
  • 1 tsp of flax seeds
  • 5-7 ice cubes
 
Instructions
  1. Pour all ingredients into the blender. Blend until you get the desired consistency. Pour into a glass. Grab a straw and enjoy!

 

Did I mention it tastes like a PB& J sandwich?
