Before I begin my small rant, let me first say that Piper is a good sleeper at night. She sleeps from 7-7 consistently and for that I am truly thankful.
BUT, this not napping during the day is brutal! She's 10 months old. She needs a nap, if not 2. Now, I know she doesn't sleep well anywhere except her own bed and that's fine. It makes me a slave to the nap; but, I'm okay with it so long as she actually sleeps. For the past two weeks, naps have been hit or miss. I've tried everything. Putting her down before she starts showing signs of being tired, waiting until she shows signs of being tired, and prolonging nap time in hopes that she'll be too tired to stay awake. Nothing seems to work. Case in point, she's currently in her crib, babbling to her "guys" clearly NOT sleeping. Oh, and she didn't nap this morning either so she should, in theory, be exhausted.
