As I sit here looking around my living room, all decked in it's Christmas glory, I wondered to myself,
"In a few weeks, I'm going to have to put all this shit away."
I certainly didn't read the "Martha Stewart Christmas How To Manual To Create A Picture Perfect Home For The Holidays That Is So Perfect That You'd Be Afraid To Fart In The Comfort Of Your Own Home" manual when I started decorating.
There isn't a particular theme or colour scheme that I follow. Our living room is mostly a display of random trinkets and such, but each carry with it a memory. My home is like a diarrhea of nostalgia and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I can sit in my living room with a hot cup of coffee, staring at some of my most cherished ornaments. Like this one...
...and remember the time I was obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake. I had plates, underwear, comforters, dolls, you name it. I had it.
Oh and this one...
Our first ornament as husband and the bestest wife ever.
And my most favourite ornament of all isn't the fanciest....
She was brave enough to let me run the show over there for a day.
So please come by and say hello. Pleeeeeaaaassse?!
