No prob, Christy. I'd hate to feed my babies formula as well. In fact what I had in mind while writing my comment was pumping and bottle-feeding only until the issue was over. C: No formula (although I understand some moms don't feel like or can't breastfeed).

Thank you for your comment Aurora, you are correct.  I know that I never had any problems really with nipple confusion with any of my kids but I never wanted to pump exclusively for them either.  I was able to pump enough for my youngest while he went to daycare but I didn't want to image having to provide him with formula, I can't get passed the smell let alone didn't want to feed it to my kids.

That's another reason for doing everything possible not to get engorged or worse. Because when that kind of issues come up, often artificial nipples become necessary.
