A Mom Blog Social Network
Is it me or are we all just a little nuts to do this?
I mean who do we think we are?
I have struggled with this question on and off for most of my life, but never more so than since I have started blogging.
The raw emotional content of some of my posts leave me breathless and exhausted, and then others just leave me bored.
The bottom line is that I have to write. I don't do it for the affiliate money (Lord knows I have not made a penny yet!) and I do not do it for the traffic (that is slower than molasses). I have to write because a blank page challenges me. I have to write because I was designed to create. I have to write because if I don't no one will know the gifts I have to share.
We all want to be heard. We all want to be seen. Not for our fifteen minutes of fame, but because we all need validation.
So when I hear that question, "Who do you think you are?" in my head, I will say: I am a writer!
If you feel the same, you may want to join me and hundreds of others who are taking Jeff Goins' FREE online writing course: 15 Habits of Great Writers.
If you are already a great writer and you know it, then what is your book called and where can I buy it? You may have conquered the insecurity that plagues us writers, but I still have a ways to go.
Do you ever question yourself like me? Do you think you may be a little nuts to do this blogging thing?
