Having been a mom to a large family for many years, I’ve had the duty of planning what seems like countless birthday parties for the younger crowd. It can be a bit nerve wracking to do for the first time, especially considering you want to make certain everybody is safely entertained and leaves with good memories. In the age of Pinterest, it’s easy to set an extremely high expectation for the turnout of a birthday party. My first bit of wisdom is not to get overwhelmed with planning the perfect celebration, and instead think in terms of convenience. Children don’t overthink every detail of a get together like adults do, and that works out to your advantage. They just want to have a fun time with their friends, and this leads me to my next piece of advice for planning an amazing party!

Thinking outside of the box led me to a great discovery the last time I was planning a children’s birthday party, and I want to share it with you in hopes that you can also benefit! Children can get easily bored of one destination, especially if there happens to be different age groups present at the party. Of course, visiting multiple destinations requires a form of transportation that goes above and beyond the fleet of mid size SUV’s and mini-vans of the moms who are dropping their children off to the party. Plus, no parent really wants to volunteer to whisk kids off to a multitude of spots in one day! There’s one viable option left, and that is to hire professional transportation such as a party bus for the celebration.

Now, I know what you’re thinking! It’s easy to associate party buses with bachelor parties and overall crazy adult parties, but you can’t deny their efficiency and appeal to children when you think about the features that come with them. We were able to decorate the interior to our liking and completely surprise the kids! They can’t get enough of the neon color changing lighting, and you can even bring along one of their favorite movies to play on the television screens if they’re available on the vehicle that you’re renting. The spacious interiors and cup holders provided a ton of convenience while on the road.

With a bit of research, you can find a transportation company in your area with clean vehicles, a good reputation, and an excellent track record of customer service that’s willing and able to work with you on all of the details of your event. It varies from company to company, but they will often let you check out some of their vehicles so you can get a better idea of exactly what to expect. We used Miami Florida Limo Service. The great thing about booking a party bus for a children’s birthday party is the fact that the transportation is so flexible…and you don’t have to do any of the driving. The chauffeur will take your itinerary and ensure that you reach your destinations on time while the kids have a great time on board.
