The right clothing
Depending on the exact type of angling you’re going to engage in, you need various types of clothing. In some cases, like for boat fishing, you don’t have to go overboard and wear too hefty clothes as they might hinder your moves.
However, if what you want to do is practice your fly fishing skills and you have to stand knee-deep in the water for several hours, you definitely need protective equipment, with the most important one being your fishing waders. Snacks and everything in the way of supplying energy
Because you won’t be able to carry all your pantry with you, you will have to decide which things you need to bring along and which have to remain at home. It might be a good idea to go for things like trail mix, protein bars, and other compact foodstuffs that don’t take a lot of room but that are capable of providing you the energy you need.
Of course, if you want to mix fishing with camping, you can bring all sorts of cookware, a portable grill, or anything else. If you don’t want to turn your angling expedition into a camping adventure, though, keep everything simple, yet make sure you don’t starve yourself out there.
